About the Founder
Poster Escape was founded by Kadir Ozan Ayrancı, drawing from his long-standing interest in poster art, curatorial practice, and experience in digital visibility.
A graduate of Industrial Design from Kadir Has University, Kadir Ozan has built his career around design and poster art. He is internationally best known for the mash-up posters he created for Glicked, one of the defining pop culture phenomena of 2024.
He has also personally undertaken the design of the Poster Escape website. Coming from within the production process as a poster artist himself, this perspective forms the foundation of his curatorial approach.
Kadir Ozan works with a focus on understanding strong work, positioning it within the right context, and connecting it with the audience it truly deserves. His expertise in social media management, visual culture analysis, and artist visibility shapes Poster Escape’s curatorial language, timing sensitivity, and commitment to equality.
For him, Poster Escape is not merely a project, but the natural outcome of a desire to treat the poster as a serious form of expression—one that places ideas and creative production at its core.
